Key Takeaways

What Emerged from the Dialogue

Three central themes crystallized from 60 minutes of cross-sector civic dialogue.

01

Institutional Speed Gap

The challenge isn't AI capability — it's that institutions adapt at decade-long cycles while technology moves in months. Policy, education, and workforce systems are structurally misaligned with the pace of change.

02

Trust Architecture

Both regulators and builders agreed: transparency is non-negotiable. The public needs to understand not just what AI does, but how decisions about its deployment are made and who is accountable.

03

Citizen Agency

AI literacy should be as foundational as reading and writing. Citizens need tools to participate in decisions that affect them — not as passive subjects of automation, but as informed stakeholders.
